VP Contender Doug Burgum Promotes Deals Backed by Microsoft-China

It is hard to know where to begin with Republican vice presidential contender Doug Burgum’s self-serving hypocrisy and double-talk with respect to Communist China, as evidenced in efforts he led to bring Fufeng Group to his state to promote jobs only to undertake a volte-face once national security concerns were raised. With one breath, the North Dakota Governor has encouraged investment in the United States from Communist China only to declare the PRC enemy number one. Which is it, and how can one account for his dual loyalties? One need look no further than his Microsoft connections.
China’s Microsoft Connections
During the Administration of President George H.W. Bush, who was worked with Secretary of State Henry Kissinger in the 1970s to normalize relations with Communist China to open up markets there for multinationals, Microsoft was among the first U.S. multinationals to enter the Chinese market.
