Microsoft’s Hand Reaches into Banking

Microsoft has developed and is managing online banking systems for China, raising questions of what role the company might be playing within the U.S. banking system in an increasingly global market place. Take, Bravera Bank, a friendly all-American community-oriented bank that remains employee and director-owned. Its President and CEO is the Harvard-educated David Ehlis, who previously worked as Director of Channel Development for John Deere, a company at the heart of U.S. agriculture.
Bravera is an all American as it gets, and yet the ubiquitous hand of Bill Gates and Microsoft can be seen in all things banking.
