Who’s Who (2)
Appointed to the bench by President Bill Clinton, U.S. District Court Judge Paul Huck presides over Abramoff’s SunCruz case.
Once Abramoff is incarcerated, Florida Charlie Crist appoints Paul Huck, Jr., the son of the U.S. District Court, to negotiate a lucrative casino compact with the Seminole Tribe of Florida on behalf of the state of Florida.
U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida Alexander Acosta indicts Abramoff over the SunCruz fraud while providing a “sweetheart deal” to Jeffrey Epstein on grounds that the pedophile has ties to intelligence and must therefore receive special treatment. Acosta serves as Secretary of Labor in the Trump Administration until he is forced to resign over revelations connected to Epstein. Trump replaces Acosta with Pat Pizzella, a lobbyist from Preston Gates who partnered with Abramoff on behalf of powerful Russian interests.
Mary Maxwell Gates (portrait), the wife of William Gates, Sr. (a Partner of Preston Gates — a lobbying firm which employed Jack Abramoff) and mother of Microsoft CEO Bill Gates, was Director of First Interstate Bank, which, in 1996, merges with Wells Fargo, the bank that allegedly structured the SunCruz fraud over which Abramoff was prosecuted.
